Best Hosting for SEO on a Budget – Rank Higher in Google

Best Hosting for SEO: So, you’ve decided to start your own website, but you want to make sure that you’re able to rank well in Google. There are a lot of different factors that can affect your Google ranking. These factors are not always mentioned by Google, but through trial and error, SEO experts have been able to piece together many ways to rank better.

One of the most important requirements is a good hosting company. No matter how much you defer or async your javascript, you’re not going to improve your ranking enough to fix your LCP, CLS, FCP and Total Blocking Time. These factors are all taken into account when testing your pagespeed. You can test your pagespeed here.

To rank better in Google, you have to move off shared hosting and onto a high quality host. When I first started out, I put my blog on cheapest shared hosting package I could find. Little did I know that my website was down for hours each day without my knowledge. My loading speeds were awful, and so was my user experience. Nowadays, you can run your own server and have lightning fast speeds for the same price as a shared host.

Which Is the Best SEO Web Hosting Provider?

There are many different types of websites, but most people use one of two main ones. These are blogs and business sites. Blogs are where you share your thoughts and advice with your readers. These are usually updated quite often. Business sites are usually used by companies to promote their products and/or services. These are normally static sites that are not updated very often or at all.

Best Hosting for SEO on a Budget Rank Higher in Google

In order to rank either type of site, you need to make sure that your website is optimized for the best possible speeds. Optimizing your site in any way to increase your ranking in Google or Bing is known as search engine optimization (or SEO for short).

One of the best ways to optimize your site for SEO is to use a good hosting provider. This will allow your site to load faster and, in turn, rank better in search engines. Of course, if you’re just starting out, you do need to keep an eye on your budget as well.

These are the best web host companies, when you’re on a budget, that provide excellent speeds at prices that won’t break the bank:

1. NetCup Servers

I use a Netcup vserver to run my website on. You can check out my loading speeds on Pagespeed for yourself. I’m using the very cheapest option and it is still significantly faster than any shared hosting provider I’ve used in the past.

As you are using your own virtual server to run your website, you never have to worry about your site being throttled. You’ll have lots of free CPU resources, RAM and storage space. And, you can always add on addition CPU cores and RAM for a few extra cents.

I’ll admit, the actual server is not beginner-friendly. I prefer to install software that will control my server with an easy-to-understand frontend. There are a bunch of free options available if you shop around, but if you’re setting up a single WordPress site, I’d recommend the free plan of FlyWP. They’ll give you full instructions on how to install their software. Once that’s done, you’ll never have to login to NetCup again.

2. A2 Hosting – Fast and Affordable Hosting

A2 Hosting is one the best hosting companies on the market. They have a variety of plans to choose from, as well as a turbo boost feature that skyrocket your speeds.

A2 Hosting is also very affordable. Although their plans may look slightly more expensive than the plans below, you get a steep discount if you take your plan out for a 36 month contract. This can drop the price down to as little as $3 per month.

If you want to ensure that your site loads fast for each and every visitor, then A2 Hosting comes highly recommended. For the price you pay, the load speeds are incredible.

Most of their packages allow for unlimited websites, with unlimited space, and unlimited email accounts. This means that your monthly subscription will ensure that your current and future websites will all be running at blazing fast speeds.

For as long as I’ve used A2 Hosting, I’ve never had any issues with my plan, speeds or downtime.

3. GoDaddy – Great Shared Hosting Plans

GoDaddy is a very well-known place to buy domain names, but they also have excellent hosting plans as well.

If you don’t want to take out a long contract, then GoDaddy might be for you. On their standard 12 month contract, you’ll get some of the lowest prices around.

Most of their packages let you have unlimited websites, with unlimited space, and unmetered bandwith. And, as GoDaddy is one of the most popular places to buy domain names, they often give you a free domain name with your hosting packages.

4. Hostinger – the Cheapest Hosting with Decent Speeds

If you’re looking for the absolute lowest price hosting, then Hostinger is for you. Hostinger doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of the other companies, but you if you just need fast hosting at an amazing price, then you can’t go wrong.

Hostinger’s plans do have some limits – such as some plans allowing for up to 100 websites instead of unlimited. However, most of us never intend to create 100s of websites anyway.

During testing, I’ve had very good uptime with Hostinger and no major issues with my plan.

SEO-Friendly Hosting: 5 Things to Look for in a Good Hosting Company

There are a few key things to look for when choosing a good hosting company.

First, you want to make sure that the company has a good uptime record, so that your website will always be online for your visitors. I use the free plan on Pulsetic to monitor my websites and see how often they go down. Since moving to Cloudways, I’ve had a 100% uptime.
Second, you want to make sure that the servers are located in the country that you get most of your traffic from. On most servers, you can change your servers country in the settings panel. If most of your visitors are from the US, then it’s best that you use a US server.
Third, you want to make sure that the company offers a variety of different hosting plans to choose from, so that you can find one that fits your specific needs. Everyone has different requirements for their hosting service. You want to know that if you need to expand in later years, that your hosting will be able to keep up.
Fourth, you want to make sure that the company has a good reputation and is known for providing reliable service. There are a lot of hosting sites that have come and gone over the years. Always go for a trusted hosting to ensure that you site is always available.
Finally, you want to make sure that the company offers good customer support in case you have any problems with your account. When something goes wrong on your website, you need to be able to make fixes as quickly as possible. Some shared hosting sites have taken over 24 to reply to every email – which could bankrupt your business during an emergency.

Shared Hosting vs. VPS Hosting

If you want to get more eyes to your site, you need to make sure that you’re using the fastest available hosting option. There are a lot of different types of hosting, but we’re going to focus on shared hosting and VPS hosting.

Let’s start with shared hosting. This is the most popular type of hosting. They offer the best value for storage space, bandwidth, email accounts, databases, etc. However, one disadvantage is that it can never be as fast as dedicated or VPS hosting. This is because the server will be shared with lots of other websites. All of your data is completely separate and secure from others, but you do not have the server to yourself. Most websites on the internet use shared hosting.

The second category is VPS hosting. A virtual private server (VPS) is a dedicated server. You are basically renting the entire server and only your websites will be hosted on them. You also have full control over everything on the server. This can be slightly more expensive but is best for larger sites that receive lots of visitors every day.

Best Hosting for SEO

No matter how good your website is, if you have slow loading speeds or lots of downtime – your website will not rank well. There are lots of great SEO techniques to improve your site, but you will still need to choose a good web host with good speeds, uptime and server location. The best hosting for SEO on a budget are all of the companies we’ve listed above. Although A2 Hosting does have the best speeds, if it’s out of your budget, then the other two are excellent alternatives.
