Side Effects of Green Tea

There are little to no side effects to a good cup of green tea. The few that have been discovered are listed below:

  1. If you’re on any anticoagulant drugs, ie. blood thinners or aspirin – it is recommended that you avoid green tea. A combination of the two can reduce the clotting effectiveness of Platelets.
  2. Green tea has very little caffeine in it but if you are sensitive to caffeine, you may want to avoid it
  3. Green tea doesn’t go well if you’re on any type of stimulant drug. It could spike your blood pressure and heart rate
